3 year old kindergarten
The 3 year old group operates on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays 8.30am – 1.30pm. The children attend for two sessions per week.
3 year old kinder is focused around supporting the children to settle into the new environment, routines, and expectations of being part of a group. We provide a nurturing environment with a focus on developing relationships and supporting the children and families in this new adventure. Our program is flexible and responsive to the needs, interests and skills of the children as individual’s and a group. We believe children learn through meaningful play and hands-on experiences and incorporate opportunities to engage in real-world tasks, embrace their creativity and imagination, pursue their wonderings, and discover the magic of the world around them. Guided by the Victorian Early Learning Framework and our Kinder Philosophy we provide a range of tailored experiences, resources, and strategies with daily exposure to arts and crafts, music and movement, storytelling, making, gardening, sensory exploration, and observing and connecting to each other and the world around. 3 year old kinder provides a foundation of skills such as independence, confidence, relationship building, and a love of learning.
